We provide sexual and reproductive healthcare at our two centers in Brooklyn, including gynecological and prenatal care, sexual health screenings and treatment, medication abortion, and behavioral and social support. We also support community partners to expand access to innovative, quality sexual and reproductive healthcare that promotes autonomy and empowers patients in making healthcare decisions.
Public Health Solutions’ Sexual and Reproductive Health Centers (SRH Centers) offer confidential, compassionate, and low/no cost sexual healthcare to all. We have two health centers located in Brooklyn, NY. Appointments are available in-person and by telehealth. - We provide comprehensive sexual and reproductive healthcare services regardless of immigration status, ability to pay, or insurance coverage. Our services include sexual health screening, HIV counseling and testing, PrEP and PEP, STI testing and treatment, HPV vaccinations, pregnancy testing, and options counseling. We provide a full range of birth control methods, prenatal care, medication abortion, on-site prescription supply, and telehealth visits.

Teens can access reproductive health services without parental permission and receive the same confidentiality. We tailor communication about your care to your needs. Payment is never a barrier, we offer free or low-cost services on a sliding scale, accept various Medicaid plans, and assist with insurance enrollment through our onsite specialists.

Since 2023, our SRH Centers have been a member of the National Abortion Fund (NAF) and are part of a network of abortion providers committed to providing patient-centered, evidence-based abortion care. Funding for our SRH Centers comes from various organizations, including the Department of Health and Human Services; Office of Population Affairs; Health Resources & Services Administration Health Center Program; New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH); New York City Department of Health & Mental Hygiene (NYC DOHMH); and private grants.

Our WIC centers support low-income pregnant women, postpartum women, infants, and children up to age five (5) to eat nutritiously, providing both education and food to supplement their diets. WIC helps participants connect to other needed healthcare and social services, and WIC peer counselors support parents who choose to breastfeed.
We help over 35,000 eligible pregnant and nursing women and children up to age five years of age to enroll in the New York State WIC (Women Infants and Children) Program each year. Through our WIC program, we provide nutrition education sessions led by WIC nutritionists on healthy eating and physical activity, breastfeeding support, and eWIC cards to purchase nutritious foods. We also make referrals to other services including SNAP and health insurance (co-located at many of our sites), medical and dental providers, childcare, and other needed services. WIC is a program of the New York State Department of Health funded by the U.S. Department of Agriculture. PHS administers the Neighborhood WIC Program under contract with the New York State Department of Health. We assist over 10,000 New Yorkers annually with SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) applications at locations across New York City and virtually over the phone. SNAP benefits help eligible individuals purchase food from most grocery stores and other approved food outlets. Our Benefits Counselors help clients determine if individuals qualify, gather required documents, and submit the applications to the Human Resources Administration (HRA).
Each year, we help 15,000 individuals of all ages to sign up for free or low-cost health insurance coverage. Our trained enrollers provide one-on-one assistance, with the application and renewal process, including helping clients to fill out required information, upload documents, and understand their coverage options both virtually and over the phone.
PHS Navigators help individuals under 65 enroll in the New York State of Health Marketplace Medicaid, Essential Plan, Child Health Plus, or Qualified Health Plans across all five NYC boroughs and Long Island.
PHS also implements the NY State-funded Consumer Assistance for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled program for the New York City region – which includes all 5 NYC boroughs, Rockland and Westchester counties – providing training, oversight, and technical assistance to a network of subcontractors and ABD Facilitated Enrollers. Facilitated Enrollers help individuals aged 65 years or older or living with blindness or a disability to submit Medicaid and Medicare Savings Program applications to the Human Resources Administration (HRA). Additionally, PHS Medicare Counselors assist eligible consumers to fulfill the requirement to apply for Medicare as a condition of Medicaid eligibility through education efforts and direct assistance with online applications.
